Can we talk about True Blood? Not about ep 3s shock ending, but about the female characters, which have progressively gotten more and more bland as the series has gone on. Sookie has always been the most boring thing about TB but she generally had interesting female characters around her (Tara, Arlene, lets count Lafayette too). Now theyre either dead or relegated to the sidelines, or have somehow morphed into perpetually worried looking doe-eyed, wet lipped fluffbags (ie: Jessica, Willa, Andys boring daughter). Pam and Violet are the only ones with any spark and even they are just caricatures now.I seriously hope Sarah Newland brings the funk back.
