Can world war 2 be avoided? There are many costly mistakes here. I shall name some of them 1) the league of nation , which was being established after the 1st world war, the main responsibility was to allow members to negotiate to prevent future wars. However , this were not being enforced . However , this important event set the foundation of our next global body which we have for today . The United nation 2) much of the Europe countries were bankrupted . The treaty of Versailles are being imposed on the aggressors, Germany and Austria Hungary . After the war , ottoman , Austria Hungary empire was being broken up into satellite states. 3) Germany was forced to pay a huge reparation to the allies . And that create a lot of discontent . Their country was virtually bankrupted after the war. This set the rise of next dictator . Adolf hilter 4) Japan did not get any rewards despite helping the allies in the world war 1, they have a great ambition to be the next super power . The invasion of Manchuria was to gain overseas territories and to strengthen Japanese power 5) US went into a policy of isolation after the war, furthering weakening the league of nation power 6) the British and the French following a policy of appeasement . When Adolf hilter took over Czechoslovakia, they did not stop hilter from taking all these satellite countries 7) hyper inflation in the newly formed German Weimar Republic further fuel the anger of its citizens Although there are many things to add on.. These few factors lays the foundation for world war 2 .
