Can you believe it? We are 10 days away from the big sign-up day for Ironman Florida 2015. We have had a few informational meetings to get you all excited for the upcoming 2015 season and our huge cornerstone event. The club will once again be looking to send a large group to be called an Ironman. The season will be dedicated to group training and events to help not only these Ironman participants but the club as a whole. Today, we are looking for your help in letting us know your intentions. Help us kick off a great 2015 season by signing up for the 2015 IMFL and we will make it the adventure of your life. 2015 IMFL OMC Survey https://docs.google/forms/d/1VmjmBYlI0jsz6q4zW01co119tYdfeTU2w4z4Y3LxLvs/viewform What you need to know: There will be 3 ways for you to sign up for IMFL and this years club trip. In the upcoming days, we will send out more detail on what you need to know. 1. Travel with the club to IMFL 2014: We will be traveling in two separate groups. Both leaving on Friday 10/31, one in the morning and one in the evening. On Saturday, in Panama City Beach, Florida, you will witness one of the greatest sporting achievements known to man, the Ironman. If the hair doesnt raise on the back of your neck while watching the midnight finishers, well...we wont know what will. Sunday morning comes early, but with the excitement of signing up for IMFL 2015 and your moment. 2. Sign up on the computer through Active (IronmanFlorida): Take your chances back home and sign-up through on-line registration. Open registration opens at 11am Central time on Sunday, November 2nd. IMFL sells out on-line within the first minute. While this method was successful for the 2013 IMAZ trip, we recommend only taking this chance if you have to. We will provide you with some great how to tips that have been successful in the past, but certainly without guarantee. Plan now to be near a computer 15 minutes prior to 11 with access to a computer and Internet connection. Be sure you have an Active account and a valid USAT license through November 30, 2015. 3. Request a spot through Endurance Sports Travel: A travel company dedicated to the Ironman participant. We have been told going through them can significantly increase your chances of getting a slot to the event. They also come with some glowing recommendations from your fellow club members. Everyone that indicates interest in IMFL will be placed on their wait list with no commitments to buy. Even if you plan on using them, they recommend you try your hand at the on-line registration if you can. Please take a moment to fill out our survey if you intend on participating.
