Sammy and Abby are a bonded pair who lost their home when their owners could no longer care for them due to family issues. Though they are “sisters” in every way, these two girls are actually 4 years apart. Sammy is an 8-year-old lab mix and Abby is a 4-year-old puggle. Despite losing the only home they’ve ever known, these girls have each other. The hope is to keep it that way! Other rescues have offered to take one, but not both. Friends of DuPage County Animal Care & Control Foundation decided theyre worth taking a chance on so they can stay together -- and thanks to the Friends of DCACC Foundation’s Bonded Pair Adoption Fund, both can be adopted for only $100 (1/2 off the regular adoption fee).
