Can you believe we are already celebrating 5 years of marriage tomorrow? I feel as though I have only blinked and it has passed. From becoming fur parents to the real parents of an extraordinary little girl to actual homeowners with a yard and all ;)...we have managed to make these last 5 years together more than memorable, filled with more love and devotion I thought possible. However, the most remarkable thing to me (besides the birth of our baby of course) has been how you have managed, in the last five years, to turn any character flaw or imperfection into something that I would come to appreciate about you... *your narcoleptic tendencies of sleeping through literally EVERY single movie and show have now been passed on to our daughter (which is basically the greatest gift you could give to a mother: to have a child that can and will sleep through anything) * your incessant sarcasm which I now find absolutely hilarious when its directed at anyone but myself * the uncanny ability you possess to walk away from a disagreement when all I want to do is work it out in the moment has turned into us never arguing in front of our daughter *your lack of complimenting has turned into how much more I value the compliments when you give them And last, but not least... *your frugality of not wanting to spend money has now turned into financial security for our future and our daughters future which I am forever grateful I only picked 5 seeing as though it was one for every year so far ;) Plus, it will give you more time to turn any more imperfections into perfections over the next 5 years. Happy 5 year anniversary babe! I love you!
