Can you disagree, take a stand against a friends point of view or lifestyle and still love the person? I say you can, especially if you have experienced a life changing relationship with Christ. The world tries to make it impossible to disagree and still love. However, that goes against everything the scripture talks about. So friends, if we dont always agree on political or social issues it doesnt mean that we cant love. As a person that always speaks up (probably more often than I should) I felt I needed to clarify. We will not always agree, but I want you to know that I love you and always want the best that God has for your life. On another note, Id like to say how much Ive enjoyed singing with my family over the last few months. As most of you know we lost our brother Tom about 2-1/2 years ago. I loved (and love) him so much and miss him daily. It took me a long time to release the anger and hatred that I held in my heart and surrounded the whole situation. However, with the love of wonderful friends, Church, Pastor, family and my Lord Ive been able to lay that burden down. Although I miss Tom so much and wish that I could stand by him on the stage just One More Time, Ive learned the precious gift of life, family & relationship and how blessed I am to have the opportunity to stand with my family and profess Christian Faith with my family. I think thats what Tom would want and God honors. With all that said I Celebrate the JOY of MY Salvation. From the Heart!!
