In New York City, the annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate (HOPE) count will be conducted on the evening of Monday, January 27. The City is looking for 3,000 volunteers to sign up and lend a hand. Volunteers must be 18-years-of-age or older and are trained and supervised by the Dept. of Homeless Services.
