I mean, the Left was merciless in portraying President Gerald Ford as a bumbling fool, even though the man was a superior athlete, and even his Secret Service had a problem keeping up with him on the ski slopes. The Left forever labeled Vice-President Dan Quayle as a brain-dead moron, because he misspelled potato. And we all know that for eight straight years, President George W.
