Can you help us help the needy this Christmas? We are looking for food, gifts, cash and corporate donations! The Basket Brigade is a group of volunteers who want to make a difference in the community at Christmas by providing baskets and hampers to people and families that are doing it tough and need a helping hand at Christmas. This year the Sydney Basket Brigade is aiming to distribute 4,000 Christmas Baskets/Hampers to help families and individuals in need and would really appreciate your support. Are you able to help in one of the following ways? 1) Donations of food and gifts. Can you donate food (non perishable) or gifts (toys etc)? These can be dropped off at Catholic Youth Services during business hours or email sydneybasketbrigade@gmail for other drop off options. 2) Donations of Cash. Cash is always very helpful as it allows for the purchase of goods for the baskets. It costs about $50 to fill a basket. You can make donations using your credit card online at magicmoments.org.au. Just click on ‘donate online’ and choose Sydney Basket Brigade from the pull down menu. 3) Corporate Donations. Do you work for a food company that might be willing to donate some food items in bulk?
