Can you please share your experiences with this mum x Hello! I am due to return to work mid March (3 days a week) and my heart is sinking as I have no idea what to do about my sons feeding. He is 9 months old and has been fed on demand since he was born (pretty much every 2/3 hours day and night). Sometimes he drinks water from a sippy cup and I have given him expresses milk once or twice from it (he drank very small amounts). What do I do when I go back to work? He will be one by then so hopefully he will be eating a little bit more (we do BLW and he is not a great eater/he doesnt like being fed solid by others either). Do I have to slowly/gently wean him from days feed?! When do I need to do that?! I LOVE breastfeeding and I hope to be able to continue nursing him in the mornings and evenings. We have only been apart from 2/3 hours twice. We also co-sleep. I feel really anxious when I think about it so any gentle suggestions are welcome and needed please. TIA x ps: not return to work is not an option.
