Canada is without a comprehensive food policy—lagging behind other industrial countries in the OECD. The United Nations has raised serious concerns about food security in Aboriginal communities and the lack of a coordinated food strategy in Canada. New Democrats have a vision for our food system, one that connects Canadians from farm to fork.
