Canadian Parents for French NWT Branch (CPF-NWT) is hosting a short video competition for the children of CPF-NWT members. CPF-NWT is seeking submissions of videos 30 seconds – 2 minutes in length on the theme “Why French?”. Included as a component of the competition, is a free half-day film workshop instructed by Western Arctic Moving Pictures (WAMP) for students in grades 5 through 12. Workshops will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015. The morning session from 9AM – 12PM is for students in grades 5-8; and afternoon session from 1PM – 4PM is for students in grades 9-12. There is a maximum of 15 students for each session. Please register early to ensure your spot!! The contest will conclude with a screening of all videos produced and an Awards Ceremony on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
