Canary Islands’ weather forecast: Sunday, March 16 There will be heavy cloud first thing for the north of the highest islands, but this should break up a little during the afternoon. Everywhere else will have significantly clearer skies, though mountainous areas may still be under the cloudy weather, so to speak. It should be quite a bright, sunny day in most coastal areas, however, and temperatures are up slightly, particularly over in the eastern half of the archipelago where maximums will reach at least 24ºCelsius. A moderate northeasterly will drop somewhat in the latter half of the day and in those eastern islands it will also swing round to the north. Pretty much a perfect Sunday.
