Cancelled: Australia Shows this October by Thomas Mapfumo & The Blacks Unlimited Chimurenga Music Company (CMC) hereby regrets to inform the fans and well-wishers in Australia that the shows that had been scheduled for some various dates in the month of October this 2014 in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have all been cancelled with immediate effect. There have been some unfortunate fallings-out that have emerged between CMC and the Australian-based promoter regarding the agreed logistics and costs for the shows. Per agreement, these essential aspects were meant to be settled prior to the music group’s departure from the USA to Australia. The said promoter, Mr. Remigio Moyo who trades under Balaz Amplified Entertainment was not able to satisfy his part of the contract due to some communicated cash flow hardships that triggered a breach of the contract. As a result, CMC had no choice but to disappointedly cancel the supposed October performances as the terms and conditions for departure were not met by the promoter.
