Cancer. Such an ugly word. Doesnt matter if it is cancer in humans or animals it is not a prognosis anyone wants to hear. Sadly it seems cancer is steadily on the rise in certain breeds of dogs. Two breeds that seem to be a larger target for cancer are Golden Retrievers and Bernese Mountain Dogs. While this study is not geared towards Chesapeakes, Im sure there are a few Golden owners on here or know people who have them who might be able to donate to the cause.
