Cancer free: Today I went to the doc’s to get my psa my numbers [0.05 is normal] results. At this present time my psa is 0.00, which is awesome. When I was tested in 2012 my psa was 10.8. The Doc’s wanted me to get a biopsy of my prostrate. But getting me to a get the prostrate biopsy was a real chore, but I got it done. If I had waited any more time, the cancer would have spread, putting me in a world of trouble. Let me recap my medical history: 2011 a spinal cord injury, 2012 broken hip, and 2013 diagnosed with prostate cancer. So, for two minutes I was like, upset, at the fact of prostrate cancer affecting my manhood, but I felt, my manhood does not identify who I am. Who am I defines me. That’s easier said then done. My surgery to me was another day at the office. The real problem was facing the fact I may loose all of my manhood. Now lucky for me, Chrissy [my gf] does not see that loosing my manhood would be a problem. She’s in love with me for who I am. Our age [7 years] difference makes us very compatible since we grew up in the age of respecting each other. Now days we live in such a disposable world where if you don’t like your choices you make, you can just dispose of it. IE. Man/woman buys a new car, after a few miles they decide to just trade it in. Man/woman date each other, and instead of making the relationship work, they jump to another [man/woman]. Usually the plan is that when [man/woman] are close in age their relationship survival rate is pretty high. When [man/woman] has a huge age difference, there are many disparities because of the age difference, and that disparities are due to bedroom intimacy. When [man/woman] are close in ages there outlook on life changes from what’s truly intimate. I.e. a candle lite dinner, just setting in a swing talking, holding hands, a kiss for no reason other than because you can kiss [man/woman]. I would like to express to all [man/woman] that the removal of the prostrate in not the end all. I mean, society has based a lot of emphasis of being thin, pretty, or made of money. But in reality, gravity takes over, [you get the picture], beauty is only skin deep, and with money, does it really matter that money will define a couples status. The one good thing that came from hurricane Katarina was that everyone was equal. It did not matter if you were in a rich neighborhood, or a poor neighborhood, everyone was humbled after the hurricane Katrina. I got off track about the prostrate. The point is, that no matter what the prostrate diagnoses is, or the medical procedure is. Remember to stay [man/woman] true to who you are. The prostrate issue pertains to both the [man/woman]. In spite of the prostrate issue, stay strong, and always believe in yourself.
