Cancer update: Tomorrow after surgically getting another port placed I will be starting a treatment of antigens. I will go in for infusion every three weeks. After there is no trace of cancer I will have intensive chemo everyday for a week. Then, I will be admitted to the hospital where I will receive a stem cell transplant. I will have to stay in the hospital for about a month in a private sterile room. After I get out, my immune system will take about two months to fully recuperate from the stem cell transplant. Not including the two month recovery process this treatment plan should take about six months. With a little bit of luck this should do the trick.
