Candidates positions regarding scientific issues: I recently sent email to both Charlie and Gwen asking them their position on a number of issues if elected. I dont have any illusion that I will actually get any responses, but am hoping some of you can help provide links that will allow me to send to a group interested in science and science education who are not all Democrats. I know that scorecard.lcv.org gives Southerland a lifetime environmental score of 5% and am sure that both Gwen and Charlie would come in much higher. I cant find any statistics on Scott. Issues that come to mind include: -clean water, which involves not only industrial pollution to rivers and estuaries, but offshore drilling. -clean air: coal vs wind, nuclear, solar, fracking, etc -teaching evolution in public schools -this group might also be interested in who supports preventing development from cutting off Florida wildlife floridawildlifecorridor.org I am open to any lis of web links that would be helpful; maybe press or interview reports, etc. I see charliecrist/policy-positions/environment-clean-energy but not much detail, and Gwen has a few links to one environmental group that supports her.
