Candidates tapped for leadership positions, Padin selected as next secretary The New Jersey State Bar Association’s Nominating Committee tapped Evelyn Padin to be the organizations first Latina secretary. The selection means Padin, who is an at-large trustee, is on track to become president of the state’s leading group for lawyers, judges and legal professionals in 2019.
