Canes Bucket List #9: Visit Wylie Animal Shelter on 12/26/14 to say thanks and make a donation. Six years ago today, I was rescued from Wylie Animal Shelter. As a two month old pup, I was brought in because my fur mommy had mauled all my siblings to death, and I was the sole survivor. It was a cold December day, when my wish to love and to be loved came true. Today, I started out my day by visiting Three Dog Bakery Plano to pick up my very special 6-year Adoptiversary cake! Then I went off to paw it forward by revisiting Wylie Animal shelter, the very place that gave me a second chance, and connected me with my furever pawmily. Dr. Chitwood and Ben LaFleur from my Banfield Pet Hospital Garland team were also there for me, and presented me with an incredibly generous offer that will allow me to paw it forward in even bigger ways. Ill post the video shortly, but words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation- thank you. Cane lubs Banfield!
