Cant be said enough.... PTSD can be a VERY serious disorder, that sometimes costs lives!! Also, PTSD sufferers, in our experience, often dont realize the severity of their symptoms, while they are in the middle of them. If you have PTSD, and you have loved ones, that are at least halfway trustworthy, and they are telling you that you really need help, or that things are really bad.... PLEASE listen to them, and act on it by getting help. Also, for those of you who may need inpatient treatment, but want to try to avoid the nursing gowns and white coats type of treatment center... they ARE out there!!
