Cant believe that 2014 is nearly over! What a year! Looking back almost brings a tear to my eye... As some people say, the only thing that really changes is the date, but when you look back over the past 12 months you can realise that actually quite lot has changed. Friends come and go and memories are made, and when you realise that memories are whats left at the end of it all, it makes you really think. Thankfully I took this year by the balls and made some brilliant memories! Made some friends for life along the way too! Obviously nearly everything for me revolves around music... Whether its being at a rave, seeing certain DJs or even certain songs helping you through a tough point in your life, music is universal and understood by everyone and thats why I love it so much. While every year has ups and downs I prefer to try and remember the good from the year and not let the bad points bring me down. From doing a 12 hour round trip to see Hardwell in Manchester, Booking Tomorrowland and a few hours later going to Showtek in Kellys, Hardwell in Belfast, Dash Berlin in Kellys, Going to Amsterdam for Dont Let Daddy Know, Nervo in Kellys, Easter Monday Laidback Luke in Kellys, Annual trip to Markethill with the lads, Jeremy Olander and Fehrplay in Kellys, the 11th & 12th, Finally going to TOMORROWLAND for the best weekend of my life, Laidback Luke and Blasterjaxx in Falls Park, T13 - Dennis Ferrer patrick Topping, Also finally going to Ibiza - from visiting Mambos and Cafe Del Mar to being in Amnesia for Dimitri Vegas & Like Mikes closing party and also seeing Carl Cox in Space, MK in Kellys, T13 - Felix da Housecat, Halloween at Kellys - Eddie Halliwell, Carls Bday at Mono for Fehrplay, Will sparks at Coach, Nicky Romero at Coach, Tommy Trash in Mandela Hall, EP Winter Wonderland Rave, Richard Durand Playing in Status, Boxing Day JOC in Kellys, Alex Kidd in Status and finishing the year off with Marco V, Orla Feeney, Tucandeo, Junior J in Kellys... Several new friends and memories made and also more passport signatures! Haha Of course its not all about raving... Ah who am I kidding of course it is! If you were any part of my 2014 then thank you! Roll on 2015 for more of the same! Heres to the nights youll never remember with the friends youll never forget, the nights that turned into mornings and the friends that turned into family. Happy New Year Everyone! Dman x
