Cant find really much about this abandoned prison , in world war 2 the germans had a part of the prison in possession. closed down in 2011 because they had build a new one. after closure there was a lot of trouble in and around the prison because a huge group of gipsys had took the prison to live in it, but the police has removed them with a lot of violence, 2 gipsys lost their lives in the heavy fights. Now adays the gipsys still live in front of the prison on a huge camp , there live like 500 gipsys. Our visit : it was a bit exciting because some people has warned us for the gipsys , that they are very aggressive against visitors of the prison. we didnt know the exact place of the cam. so we were drive to the prison and took the wrong auction and we drived right into the Gipsy camp , and there was no way back because they had big rocks on the way you have to pass to turn the car . so we fast turned the car around and we got some very angry faces at us, bit funny because it was more exciting to visit the prison it self because they know that we are going to the prison. it was a good visit untill we arived at the front door and we saw a big group of them standing in de prison, so we decide to left the place.
