The Faculty of Medicine at McGill University is sending you this message on behalf of “A Day in the Life of Medicine”, a youth-driven organization with which we are collaborating. Good day, At this busy time of year, I appreciate your assistance in extending the following opportunity to your students interested in the biomedical sciences. My name is Eunice You, and I am a final year CEGEP student at Marianopolis College. I serve as the Chief Communications Officer of A Day in the Life of Medicine, a youth-driven organization founded in 2013 by current Harvard University undergraduate student Kian Sani while he was a high school student in Vancouver, BC. We aim to engage, educate, and inspire youth interested in the biomedical sciences. We are pleased to announce that we have forged a partnership with the McGill University Faculty of Medicine to present our second conference, entitled Bench to Bedside Conference for Youth 2015 (“B2B 2015”). Our goal is to expose students to the synergetic relationship between clinical research and patient care through presentations by leading biomedical professionals and hands-on, interactive biomedical workshops, including CPR, biotechnology lab techniques, robotic surgery simulation, and more.
