Cant support the Ravens at the moment, so the picture is taken down. I am a firm believer in justice, but when you sweep things under the rug, then use scape goats, I have a problem. I love my football, truly do, but the issue is Ray Rice is not the exception to the rule. He is the commonality. Do research on contact sports and the rate of abuse AFTER playing for years. I am not discussing people who are just abusive, before people who dont know how to read flood this thread with their unfounded opinions. I am talking about people whose personalities began to change due to constantly being hit in the head. This is a big problem that a helmet cannot fix. Lastly, if I were a woman who was in an abusive relationship, and wanted to speak out and get help, I would NOT turn to majority of the women in my timeline. Yall are judging his wife based on her defense. Calling her stupid, rolling yall eyes, etc. Be in the cycle of abuse and realize its different for everyone. You are not supporting her. Youre judging her. And to those in the cycle are only retreating back in it because we are not showing support. Any survivor will tell you that one of the biggest fears is being judged. Plenty of my friends on here will make any woman think twice about coming forward. Stop judging! If you were never abused yourself or even if you were, you are not every womans story. Yall on here mad. Go volunteer at House of Ruth, go to a homeless shelter where most of the women and children are survivors. Stop ranting and raving on facebook and doing nothing. And if u wait long enough, Ill let you work for my non profit. #rayrice
