Cant thank our family and friends (and an amazing number generous people weve never met) for the outpouring of love and support. Finally made it home to Marcus and Leif yesterday and life has been a blur ever since. Marcus has a mild concussion, some neck pain, and a broken nose, but the worst of it is the smashed patella. Hes going into surgery on Friday morning around 8am PST--please send strong, positive energy to Marcus and his surgeon, who says it will be tricky to wire everything back together given the number of shattered pieces to work with and damage to the underlying cartilage. Leif and I leave on Monday for his surgery in TX. Thankfully Beepa will come to stay with Marcus next week. Thank you all so very much for your love and patience as we update everyone-more info soon. xo
