Step underground and participate in a cabaret-style celebration of the lives of holocaust survivors and the political activism their experiences inspired. A holocaust remembrance event like no other, the Holocaust Survivors Cabaret seeks to go beyond sombre memorialisation and scrutinise the conditions that permitted the holocaust that still exist in the world today. Through a variety of artistic performances, entertainment and story-telling, the cabaret will seek to engage the audience in the planning and execution of a year-long programme of events and political actions aimed at challenging the rise of far right political parties and ideas in contemporary life, support existing grassroots movements for change and engage constructively in building a future where far right politics are no longer possible.
