Cant wait to move. I live in a small town with jack shit to do and hundreds of actual really close friends within a couple miles... and nobody ever tries to kick it unless its a party (so I at least better see you all the 29th, my goin away party!). This will be really good for me in so many ways. Already have so many people making plans to hang after I move close to them in a couple weeks. People i work with a lot are there, my main lighting guys right down the street, my sound techs are near, many dj friends, venues I use and play at often lately, central between LA, OC and SB. My friends are a huge reason why ive even stayed in the AV for so long but ive already had a few multi day adventures in my soon to be new homeland and seems Im actually going to have a stronger aspect of friends in my life by leaving my closest ones behind. Its really Bittersweet, sad to go and leave the most important people but it feels like I dont have the same value in their eyes as the fresh faces do that will now be permanent fixtures in my life. I wish I got the same love in the AV but feels theres more excuses to stay home here than there are reasons to get together and im glad to be moving to an area that I feel is full of much more life than this heavily populated ghost town lol. I hope my friends will really miss me as much as Im already missing them, but Im going to love this new chapter of my life and the people I will share it with :)
