Cant we sleep later? I always have extra time in the morning, says my 10yr old. Long, long ago we raced around and struggled to get out of the house and to school on time. Then we started getting the kids up earlier and earlier until we got to the point of not feeling rushed any more. They now are ready with 1/2 hour to spare every day. During that time they read, catch up on homework, practice an instrument, or, a favorite sisterly activity, yell and scream at each other. Now, Im afraid the jig is up. It has been a good run.
