Canyons has just updated our records database. Here are some interesting numbers: In age group records, the boys have broken 3 individual records and 6 relay records including all 5 in the 15-18 age group. For the girls there were 8 age group records broken by 4 swimmers and 3 relay records. The women would have broken more relay records but in several great swims, we used our powerhouse younger swimmers and competed out of any established age group. So far this year Canyons swimmers have broken 2 SCS relay records (one male, one female) and 2 SCS individual age group records. In the open record division, the men have broke 4 individual records and all 5 relay records while the girls have broken 6 open individual records as well as all 5 open relay records. Total records broken so far (still plenty of short course to go) is 39 club records plus 4 SCS records. Here is a list of the club record breakers from August to present.
