Caps and gowns, smiles and tears Lecanto High School Class of 2014 sprints to the finish Shadows lengthened as a bright sun sank behind the band boosters’ concession stand at the side of Lecanto High School football field. Hundreds of friends and family members stood in honor and cheered as nearly 400 Panthers in green gowns and golden stoles prowled the field from goalpost to goalpost one last time. Graduates observed a moment of silence for Victor Rivera (1996-2013) and Jessica Marie Lunsford (1995-2005) who would have been members of the Class of 2014.
