Capt. Jack fished in Lake Campo and Bay Lafourche this morning. - TopicsExpress

Capt. Jack fished in Lake Campo and Bay Lafourche this morning. He said the water was full of Trout, but a lot of small ones. They ended up with 27 Specked Trout keepers, but caught at least 100. Then they hit the inside marshes catching the limit of Reds in about 45 minutes. Trout were caught on Matrix Shad and Reds were caught on dead shrimp under a popping cork. They were back at Sweetwater by 11 am. Not a bad day. And reports from folks launching here at Sweetwater today were all good. Probably 1/3 catching limits. Tomorrow Capt. Jack is planning a repeat of today. Head to Lake Campo and Bay Lafourche for Trout, and then hit the Reds. We want to apologize to everyone who has been inconvenienced by our unstable live shrimp situation over the last few days. Capt. Jack is doing everything he can, but it has been difficult. Most recently someone sabotaged the shrimp boat so it is out of commission for the next few days. So we will not have live shrimp, but we will have dead bait and that seemed to do the trick today for Capt. Jack.
