"Capt. Jonathan Parker -in the Connecticut line- served along the Hudson under General Putnam." I assumed this fact several years ago, but I am glad to see it in writing on page 104 in my Richardson bloodline. Capt. Jonathan Parker served on the general staff of George Washington. He is died the same year and in the same county in Ohio that my 2x great-grandfather was born. Capt. Parker is burined in Pioneer Cemetery in Ashtabula County, Ohio. There are more American Revolution veterans buried along the Ohio river than anywhere else in the country. See Mound Hill Cemetery in Marietta, Ohio, just up the river from Parkersburg, West Virginia. Parkersburg is where the railroad was built to cross the Ohio river.
