Capture Your Grief Day 15-Community. We attended a community candle lighting ceremony tonight. Last year, we were only 3 1/2 weeks out from the worst and one of the best days of our lives. This time, there were two young families that lost babies to SIDS...one week and 2 1/2 weeks ago among numerous other families of losses. Another woman lost 7 babies in 10 years. When the names were being read, my husband and I were managing the nearly 4 year old and our Twinless twin. It wasnt as tranquil as we imagined but we should be thankful to be on the other side with our a wild and wacky toddler and a chatty baby. As Nicholas name was read, Audrey had a lot to say about him. As the ceremony came to a close, Jackson began to sing you are my sunshine quietly to his sister to try to shush her. The pavilion was at its quietest when I noticed a woman wiping tears from her cheek. She told me later that Jacksons singing was the sweetest thing shes heard and brought tears to her eyes.
