Capturing the history of a nation is no small task, but Tammarra Forbes was up for the job. A school teacher on the islands of North Caicos, Ms. Forbes felt compelled to create a book for children that conveyed the rich history of her country. She did this through the inspiration of her own Grandmother, Myiah. Her story not only captures the essence of the people and colors of the islands, it also gives those who purchase her book a chance to enrich the lives of school children across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
