Car/motorcycle collision may have been "road rage" Victoria Police Department Victoria BC – VicPD detectives are taking over the investigation into last week’s serious collision at Ogden Point and are looking for witnesses to aide in the investigation. Multiple 911 calls were received by the VicPD early on Tuesday, July 24th reporting a motorcycle collision in Ogden Point. Initial reports suggested the 55-year-old Central Saanich man, who was the rider of the motorcycle received life-threatening injuries when hit from behind by an SUV driven by a 55-year-old Sidney man. Officers have been able to determine that the driver of the motorcycle and the SUV may have been involved in an altercation prior to the collision. Information has come forward that the two drivers may have had a disagreement as they drove into town. It is believed that the disagreement started around the Royal Oak exit to the Pat Bay Highway. Detectives are now specifically looking for anyone who may have seen these two vehicles traveling down the Pat Bay Highway to the final collision location in Ogden Point.
