Car returned to operational despite Canadian Tire Flat Tire at fight practice last week. Brought to Canadian Tire to see if they could quickly patch (success in past) but apparently too close to tire wall. Tried to call back but after three phone calls at different times and being put on hold five times and disconnected once (close to half an hour spent on hold), finally fed up and picked up the flat. Tire fixed by Monday (same day service Thank you Our Mechanic!) but car battery dead and refuses to hold a charge. Attempt to bring in car battery to invoke Warranty and managed after 45 min to get a replacement that I said probably wouldnt fit due to top bits. Told I should bring it back during the day (I work days, so went in 8:10 pm) if it didnt fit. As predicted, it didnt fit. Fortunately had back up battery from when I got the new battery last year and it turned out to be a fried starter. Car started. Twice. Mission accomplished. Still have to put on fixed tire but at least I have independent means of transport again.
