Car to the dealership. 27k miles since the clutch repair .... guessing they are going to tell me it needs another .... sigh. Called several repair shops for the head gasket on the truck ... 2k for a head job. with 204,650 miles on the truck it is just not worth it ... better to look at an engine replacement, assuming that I intend to keep the truck, which I dont. It ahs been a good runner and a was exactly what I needed when I needed it, but it is also just past the point of useful life span (according to the research for Chevy S10 trucks). I can either replace the engine or call the knacker. They are running the cost of engine replacement, but I have doubts it will meet my risk/benefit analysis.
