Carcass one was amazing and they used the walled city to film some of the robin hood prince of thieves movie. I must say I have offended many people in the last few days as many religeous festivals are going on with the various off shoots of catholosism and christeanancy.....god my spelling sucks help me out here mate I have spent many euros going too your sacred places......geez And every time they are having services and the laying on off hands etc. Well I have interrupted a few folks and snapped a few photos (flash off of course) and left.....ahem The elegant city of nimes...lots of trees and its famous roman amphitheater dating from like 0. Nice to see how the gladiators actually worked and how they through folks to the animals in the name of entertainment or was it the earliest form of an animal rights movement. And more roman like stuff the temple of maison carried which has still all its original stone and just been cleaned absolutely amazing.....photos later. Right I am in Avignon and about to go out to a local restaurant for local food. Aqua ducts tomorrow that the romans built into this city
