Cardinals Tweets by Cindy Cardinal What do you expect when you read a news story? I assume that you expect to learn what happened whether at a meeting or at an event. You expect it to be a factual account of what occurred. Even when I was younger and in school, we were taught the four Ws of a story. All stories should include who, what, where and when. Sometimes a fifth W is added, why, but that tends to change the nature of the story unless there is a clear reason understood by all as to why something happened. This past week, I learned a new concept in the journal-ism realm. After seeing a story in another area newspaper, I began to question why a legitimate reporter would ever write a supposed, factual news story of which they and their conduct in regard to an issue were at least a part of the story.
