Care Assistant Care Assistants required to support a gentleman in his own home in the Woking area. £9.50 - £11.40 per hour. Long day shifts. Advantage Healthcare has been entrusted with the care of a 59 year old female who has suffered an acquired brain injury due to a road traffic collision. She is currently in a rehabilitation unit but is making remarkable progress and is looking to return home. In order to return home, she requires the support of a Care Assistant during the day. As her Care Assistant you will be responsible for: Personal care Manual handling Medication administration PEG feeding Bowel management Supporting with daily tasks You will support with mobility when pads need changing and with using the commode. As a result of her injury she can suffer with poor memory so we require patient individuals. You will be dedicated and hard working and be able to offer regular availability in order to provide consistency of care. Due to the nature of this role it is essential that you have access to your own transport.
