Career Counseling Session with ICAP In today’s competitive world, it is very essential to know about various options available for pursuing education in order to be equipped with the required skills in the corporate world. It has always been first priority of Institute Of Business Institution Karachi to help students not only focus on current course work but also excel in every field, which they want to work in. Last year, IBA and ICAP signed the MOU. Under this MoU, graduates of IBA (BS accounting and finance program) have to complete only two modules E and F for getting CA certification. Now, the ICAP has modified its examination/course structure so it was essential to let students know about the changes in program, exemptions, modules, duration of certification and above all, what benefit they can reap by pursuing this qualification. Considering this need of students, IBA Finance Club arranged a seminar on 10th December 2014, for the students to clarify their queries. The following dignitaries from ICAP visited Institute of Business Administration Karachi to answer the queries of the students: • Mr Khalid Rahman, COO ICAP, Ex CEO Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. • Mrs Badia Raza, Director Marketing and Communication ICAP. Both the guests interacted with the BS accounting and finance student to answer their queries and discussed the new structure for completing CA qualification. The students availed the opportunity at its full and had every single query answered by the representatives of ICAP. We wish for a better and informed future of the students.
