Carillion PLC Carry Out Improvement Works at The Fairway The Fairway in Oxhey have been delighted to welcome teams from Carillion PLC to carry out a complete refurbishment of the garden patio area. Carillion PLC Carillion is one of the UKs leading integrated support services companies, with extensive construction capabilities, a substantial portfolio of Public Private Partnership projects and a sector-leading ability to deliver sustainable solutions. They have a local base at nearby Northwood Headquarters and approached Quantum Care as part of their Sustainability Week, where they work with charitable and not for profit organisations to bring improvements in environment and overall quality of life. As part of the improvements the team have refurbished the garden benches and painted them in bright colours. They have painted the garden railings, re-potted the planters with beautiful flowers, replaced the shingle with new pebbles, tidied the lower garden and finally given the entire patio a jet wash. The whole area looks absolutely fantastic. Vilawan Noble, Home Manager, said I would like to thank the whole Carillion Team, they have done such a brilliant job. The garden will make such a difference to our residents, who will be able to go outside and really enjoy their beautiful patio and garden area. We are absolutely delighted to announce that Carillion have promised to come back and carry on working at the home over the coming months. Their next project will be the re-decoration of the homes café and then they will complete the works with a Wayfinding project, where they will be decorating internal corridors and doors to enable people with dementia to better orientate themselves within the home.
