Carle Foundation Hospital has several Accounts Receivable Representative I positions available working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The Accounts Receivable Rep Manages Accounts Receivable in accordance to compliance guidelines and specific payer rules. Responsible for reviewing claims for accuracy and resolving claim edits. Works clearinghouse and payer rejections. Follows up on outstanding receivables and completes basic appeals. Responsible for answering, documenting and completing inquiries from patients, insurance companies, public agencies, internal departments and 3rd party payers. Requirements: Associate’s Degree is preferred. One year customer service experience in healthcare preferred. General computer knowledge related to Microsoft Office applications such as Word,Excel and Outlook. Must demonstrate tact and diplomacy in interpersonal interactions .Requires strong written and oral communication and customer service skills. Ability to work proficiently within multiple billing systems.
