Carlo Ancelotti hints at Real Madrid interest in Dortmunds Marco Reus Dermot Corrigan November 26, 2014 Facebook Twitter Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly let slip that Real Madrid could sign Borussia Dortmunds Marco Reus next summer. Reus, who is out until next year due to an injury suffered in the draw at Paderborn at the weekend, has long been linked with a move to Madrid, and could be available in a cut-price deal given his contract ends in June 2016 and reportedly contains a clause which means he could move for just 25 million euros next summer. Such a potential bargain has led to interest from most of Europes top clubs -- with Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona all being mentioned in recent speculation, and Blancos president Florentino Perez is widely thought to be a big fan of the Germany international. Earlier this week, Franck Ribery told kicker he will not let Reus take his place in Bayerns starting XI if the Bundesliga champions make a move. The latest evidence that a move could be in the works came from comments made by veteran Brazilian coach Tite, who told Sportv that Ancelotti had mentioned Reus during a recent conversation about Cruzeiros young holding midfielder Lucas Silva. Ancelotti told me that they could sign [Silva] and asked me if he could play in the position of [Luka] Modric or [Toni] Kroos, because he told me the president does not sign defenders, Tite said. [Perez] wanted to sign Reus and Ancelotti asked him where he could fit him in. Brazil under-21 international Silva has spoken about his excitement about interest from Madrid, and the possibility of a transfer was taken seriously enough in Spain for him to feature on the cover of Marca on two consecutive days in mid-October. Many of Europes other richest clubs, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Inter Milan, Juventus and Roma have also been linked with the 15 million-euro rated starlet. Facebook Twitterv
