Carlo Strange things happen to people everyday and most times when we dont have an answer we tend to disbelief, or because you havent gone through it makes the person who look crazy. I myself have had my share of incidents and why they happen like that, who knows. All I know is life is strange and for the most part, unexplainable. It was 1964 in the small town of Raymondville Texas. My parents were young then and they started to date. One day he went to go pick.up his girlfriend, which is my mom. They took a drive around town, then headed towards a place where young people would go and do whatever it is they did. It was a caliche road that led a little ways out of town. Driving to where they had to get the road went up like a hill and came back down, it was then that my dad parked a little ways off on the side which was tall grass. They get off the car and my mom sits on the hood of the car and they are talking. The road that got them there made an L shape a little further away which led back into town, but where it made an L, across from there was a cotton field. As they were talking, my mom realized it started to get a little windy and the clouds started to block out the sun. In a distance on the other side of the hill on the caliche road they begin to hear the hooves of a horse. It began to get even more windy to the point where the tall grass started to flatten down, and the cotton on the field was doing the same thing. My parents began to panic as they heard the hooves getting closer but they were petrified. The hooves are now on this side of the caliche hill coming towards to where they were at. The sound of the hooves gave a sense that it was pure evil coming thier way. Th sound of the hooves were so close, it was then that they both came to and jumped in the car and hauled ass out of there. My parents didnt say one word until they got back in town. Shaken up badly my mom then asked my dad what the hell was that. To this day they have no explanation to what it was.
