Carmelo Anthony desires and feels most comfortable controlling the Basketball, with intent to make a Fundamental Basketball Move, to Score! and not distribute the Ball to other teamates. Distribution of the Basketball on the Court is not so much judged as just simply passing to another teammate. It is also relative to realize distribution of the Basketball to other teamates which leads them in favorable opportunitys and positions for success! This ability Distinguishes a Players ability to effect the game in which he chooses. More times than not it is the responsibility of the point guard to run the team so they can operate at its most optimal level. If Carmelo Anthony is holding the ball and not passing he leaves his team vulnerable to his shooting fluctuations, which during crunch time if he is not performing properly can lead to a Loss! Since the knicks dont have a point guard to command the team. It leaves melo in a position to be a facilitator and not a receiver of success on the Basketball court. Melo is truly at his best when he is able to move freely throughout the game effecting it by not just scoring but all kinds a ways putting numbers on the Board.
