Carmen and carMen casting. Due to increased interest in our twin touring experimental productions of Bizets opera, we are looking for three additional singers for Autumn 2014 onwards. These are chamber opera versions of the opera, involving just five singers with piano or pain ensemble. Guaranteed fees of £150 (minimum), plus travel and accommodation will be paid per performance, with travel expenses for rehearsals. José (tenor): Age: 30+ to cover Robin Green and Brian Smith Walters in both productions. The singer will be required for a paid promotional engagement on September 6 in Deal, Kent. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to kiss both men and women on stage and strip to underwear Micaëla/Frasquita (soprano x 2): Age 30+ versatile singers to take on the combined rôle of Micaëla (in entirety) and parts of Frasquita.
