Carol Ann Courtright, heres the recipe I used. Its all natural and good for canines. I did some research and consulted a vet-tech. DONT use wheat flour tho, unless its gluten free. Canines cant digest gluten well. I used rice flour, you can use gluten free flour. A little cinnamon is ok, never use nutmeg, its toxic to canines. Sweet potatoes or pumpkin puree is good for them. A lot of nutrients and vitamins that are good for them. Peanut butter, especially chunky is good and well received by the pooch. LOL As I said, I leave out the salt and freeze all but what I plan to give them for the week. Oh, and I made these at Christmas with the assistance of my lovely granddaughter. She used Christmas cookie cutters to cut them out. LOL You can use whatever, the pooches dont care. Custom fit them to the size of your family member. ;) 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour(gluten free) or rice flour 2 eggs 1/2 cup canned pumpkin or mashed sweet potatoes 2 tablespoons peanut butter(or not) 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Directions 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2.Whisk together the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Add water as needed to help make the dough workable, but the dough should be dry and stiff. Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch-thick roll. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. 3.Bake in preheated oven until hard, about 40 minutes
