Carol Ann Kirby Womack. Most of us in all communities teach our children values, the benefits of hard work and education. You can see this especially in large cities, the professionals, senior execs and of course people from all walks of life demonstrating exemplary service. But because we are black males we live in fear of our life when we interact with the police in the USA. In my view, your statement suggests that you have bought into the stereo type that some peddle about black people. T broke my heart when we lived in the Cayman Islands when my son who was 9 at the time asked why nhe was treated different to others for doing the same thing. He was one of the few visible minorities in that school. This is still a world wide issue. It is more harshly seen in the USA than other places due to your gun culture. Think about how offended you would be if others made the same comments about your race and culture.
